Esthetician Program (750 Hours)

This up-and-coming field is receiving a lot of attention. Our Esthetician Program,
which we began offering in 1998, was designed by Laura Payne, chief administrator of
Queen City Community College. She researched programs nationwide to develop
our esthetics curriculum, which is one of the most comprehensive programs in the
state of Tennessee. In fact, Payne now serves as a consultant on esthetics programs
for other schools.

Our program offers supervised real-world experience with clients, as well as courses
in all phases of esthetic training, including facials, body wraps and treatments, face and
body waxing, lash and brow tinting, airbrush tanning, and makeup application.

Opportunities for supervised practical work with the public are provided.

Your program hours will be divided as follows:

General Classes (150 Hours):
Sterilization, sanitation, bacteriology, anatomy, physiology,
professional ethics, personality and salesmanship and state laws.

Chemical Classes (150 Hours):

Skin conditions, disorders, nutrition, aging factors,
product ingredients and usage, waxing, lash and brow tinting and OSHA and EPA
