Barber to Cosmetology Crossover Training (750 Hours)

Barber to Cosmetology Crossover Training is designed to prepare barbers for the
state board licensing exam in cosmetology. We offer training in hairdressing skills
and their practical applications, so you’ll be ready for entry-level employment
in a beauty salon.

Opportunities for supervised practical work with the public are provided.

Your program hours will be divided as follows:

General Classes (24 Hours): State laws and cosmetology history and vocabulary.

Chemical Classes (360 Hours):
Sculpture nails, chemistry of permanent
waves and chemistry of hair relaxers.

Physical Classes (366 Hours):
Hair shaping, hairdressing and styling; roller placement, pin curls, finger waves,
curl iron; arching, lash and brow tinting; pedicures; care and styling of wigs.
